HOW THIS WEBSHOP WORKS / BLACKTIP POLICIES

The premise of BLACKTIP is to offer the highest quality wearparts at the best prices possible. To help achieve this goal BLACKTIP is 100% online.

Registration

You don’t have to register to browse the BLACKTIP webshop, but you do need to be registered to purchase our parts.

Payment

Payment can be made in two ways.

  • Credit card processed by a third party NAB gateway

NAB LOGO

Or

  • Direct deposit, good to be shipped after funds cleared.

Freight Policy

Around 95% of BLACKTIP parts are delivered FREE INTO STORE or FREE INTO YOUR LOCAL FREIGHT DEPOT dependent on your requirements and unloading facilities. The remaining parts are usually very low margin parts that we need to charge freight on. These parts are very clearly marked. To simplify the freight system we have 3 freight regions – A (Queensland/NSW/Victoria), B (South Australia/NT) & C (WA/Tasmania). Just fill out your delivery postcode and the freight charge per piece will be indicated.

With regard to BLACKTIP’s FREE INTO STORE policy, BLACKTIP reserves the right to offer FREE into local freight depot where FREE INTO STORE proves unreasonable, impractical or detrimental (financially or otherwise) to BLACKTIP’s business interests. If such a situation arises BLACKTIP will contact you and if an agreement cannot be reached we will refund your payment in full.

Stocking policy

Parts offered for sale on the BLACKTIP webshop are all stocked in one of our Australian warehouses. If we run short of any parts we will clearly mark the shop page indicating this. We carry good stock numbers, but in the unlikely event we are unable to supply any part of your order we will contact you within 24 hours to make alternative arrangements.

Shipping policy

BLACKTIP ships Australia wide using a variety of shipping companies including Australia Post.
Orders for standard/blanks parts are generally shipped within 24 hours.

Orders for parts with tungsten carbide/chromium carbide overlay hardfacing are despatched within 4 business days.

At this time, BLACKTIP does not accept international orders through the website.

Warranty policy

When purchasing goods from BLACKTIP customers are entitled to assume;

  • The goods being purchased are of a satisfactory quality
  • The goods are fit for all purposes for which they are supplied
  • The goods are safe and durable
  • That where any written description is applied to the good – that they match that description

Returns policy

If the product you choose has been wrongly described, different to the product purchased on the website or doesn’t perform as advertised – you are entitled to a refund. In this case Blacktip would pay the return freight.

Please choose carefully as we don’t give refunds if you just change your mind. That said, we understand sometimes between the machine operator and procurement, errors are made. The wrong parts get ordered etcetera. If this occurs send us an email, explain the situation and we will do our best to help. The customer would bear the cost of returning the freight if the error was not ours.

Parts must be returned in the same condition that they are supplied, and received by BLACKTIP within 21 days of being received by the customer.
